Care Assistant - Gillingham/Rainham

Excellent Rates of Pay: £14.25 per hour minimum + mileage (£14.75 after 7pm weekdays and at all times during weekends - enhanced rates during bank holidays) Mileage 35p per mile.

Before you apply you must already have:
- availability to work at least 4 days per week (Fridays included)
- availability to work every other weekend
- Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Have access to your own vehicle - this role is not suitable for walkers
- full legal right to work in the UK - We do not have licence to issue CoS
- Be prepared to go through our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office
The role (typical daily tasks)
Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include:
- Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
- Medication assistance
- Personal care (minimal assistance is all that is sometimes needed)
- Assisting clients living with Dementia
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- And much more...
Hours of availability: You must be available to work from either 7am or 3pm and to work at least 4 hours per day plus every other weekend.
Location: Gillingham, Rainham and surrounding areas - we aim to keep you close to your local area however, must be prepared to work anywhere in Medway.
